Isaac Newton and Alchemy: The Secret Life of the Founder of Modern Physics

Isaac Newton's alchemical work: his manuscripts, the Index Chemicus, the relationship to his natural philosophy, and the modern reassessment.

The notebook is in the Portsmouth Collection at Cambridge University Library. The handwriting is Newton’s — small, neat, dense, the letters leaning to the right.
